AMLA, The Association of Multiple Listing Agents, has recently announced that from 8th August 2009, members of the association will be able to avail of the facility to list their rental properties and properties for sale free.
The property association, which brands itself as the Spanish Property MLS, has made the announcement just prior to the launch of its UK property listings service, which, it is claimed, will contain over 300,000 UK properties at the time of launch.
The aim of this move, according to an AMLA spokesperson, is to aid owners and agents in the current tough econmic crisis to rent or sell their property. The move appears to be inspired by a certain amount of success in the domestic Spanish property market, where an SEO campaign seems to have provided good enough results to consider a similar move in the UK market.
In its' August 8th 2009 press release, the company seems pretty confident that the new free listing service will be a hit in the UK, based on their current rankings for major real estate keyphrases in the UK property market.
