Las Casitas de Calahonda is a beautiful little development situated opposite Los Olivios Commercial centre in lower Calahonda, Mijas Costa, Spain. Also, within a 5 minute walk you can be at Calahonda beach, the bus stop which will take you to Fuengirola or Marbella and everywhere in-between, as well as a taxi rank and an array of international restaurants bars and a number of clubs. You can access Las Casitas de Calahonda easily by any means of transport. The AP7 toll road is situated a 3 minute drive away and the N340 motorway is a couple of minutes away with a “cambio de sentina” (change of direction roundabout) taking you in the direction of both Marbella and Fuengirola. Calahonda is pretty much equidistant so, you can reach Marbella and Fuengirola via the N340 in 20-25 minutes or 10-15 minutes via the toll road. The nearest train station is in Fuengirola, but there are plans for the track to be extended through Calahonda and up to Estepona, although no dates have yet been finalised.
All of the properties in Las Casitas de Calahonda have good wheelchair access, with even the top level of houses having ramp access as well as stairs. The Entrance gate is operated by a key fob, as is the entrance to the garage. There are also two extra gate entrances to the front and rear of the development.
The name “Las Casitas de Calahonda” means The Little Houses of Calahonda and the houses are just as pretty as the name. They are all built to a very high standard, all with 3 bedrooms 2.5 bathrooms and a front and rear garden. The houses are split over 3 story’s with the living room/diner, toilet and separate fitted kitchen on the first floor, 3 bedrooms one en-suit and a guest bathroom on the second floor and stairs leading to the rooftop solarium on the top floor.
Perhaps one of the best things about living in Las Casitas de Calahonda is that it is such small development and with only a maximum of 17 neighbours, residents of Las Casitas can enjoy being part of a friendly and tight community that is perfect for both families and couples alike.
