Los Naranjos De Marbella - The Development
This urbanisation is great for holidays and permanent living. It is approximately 20 minutes walk into Puerto Banus and all the bars/restaurants and shops there, and a local bus route runs along the edge of the complex giving access to Marbella. On the complex itself there are apartments – 7 phases of them – each with its own pool area and communal gardens, there are also townhouses – so lots of different sizes and types of accommodation.
Los Naranjos de Marbella also has a club house on the urbanisation, with paddle and tennis courts, internet access, pool table, table tennis and bouncy castles for the younger generation. The restaurant serves snacks and a la carte meals, and there is a fabulous swimming pool and the pool bar opens during the summer months.
In addition, recently a Mercadona supermarket has opened which has really made the complex even more popular than before. The supermarket is open from 0915 until 2115, and is the equivalent of Tescos in the UK so has everything you need stocked on the shelves.
For permanent living, there is a local state school up to age 11 approximately 10 minutes walk away, and also Aloha College, an International school up to age 18, just 10 minutes walk too. There is a great sense of community on Los Naranjos, as there are probably about 60% residents here, it is a great place to live and there are some lovely communal areas where people meet and catch up on the local gossip! The gardens and pool areas are well maintained and also there are road sweepers out every morning, so the complex is well kept, and looked after.
Los Naranjos de Marbella is also in the heart of the golf valley, so with Dama de Noche golf course on one side of the development, Aloha Golf Course 5 minutes away, and also a golf academy with driving range just near the schools so 10 minutes walk away. The development is extremely well located for access to the main N340 and toll road so only 30 minutes to the airport at Malaga and about an hour’s drive to Gibraltar.
